I pop the tiniest bit onto my Clarisonic brush and it lathers up really quickly and feels soft and smooth. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft and clean and completely removes any makeup I am wearing. I remove my eye makeup separately as it can sting if it goes in your eye! When I use a toner after, the cotton pad is completely clean. My skin has been a little hormonal and I have found this quite calming.
My serums and moisturisers sink in really nicely after using this too. There are a couple of negatives. It can sometimes, not always, leave my skin feeling a little dry – but I do find this with a real deep cleanse. If you have sensitive skin, this may not be for you.
Also it’s rather pricey. £42 for 125ml, but as I am using the tiniest amount with the Clarisonic, it should last forever.
You can buy La Prairie Advanced Marine Biology Foaming Mousse Cleanser at Harrods, House of Fraser, Selfridges and John Lewis.
