There’s a brand new La Mer moisturiser on its way and when I was introduced to it yesterday I was told, “The next big thing is really small”. The brand’s latest innovation takes its inspiration from micro-technology and the likes of liquid microchips – it is all about super-fluids! La Mer Moisturising Soft Lotion promises to be a revolutionary super-lotion that delivers the benefits of Creme de la Mer in a weightless micro-crafted yet rich new texture.

La Mer Moisturising Soft Lotion Review

The texture of this moisturiser is incredible. It is so light yet intensely nourishing and soothing. It makes skin look instantly better and creates the softest, smoothest base for makeup and is nourishing enough for use at night. As it’s so light, it is perfect for oily and combination skins, but also great for dryness as it is so deeply hydrating. I think this is going to be a very welcome addition to the line up.

  • Hi, Ree! I was wondering if you had any opinions on the original La Mer cream. My initial inclination for my combo skin was to go for the soft lotion or the soft cream, but they both contain shea butter, which my skin does not seem to like. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

    • I haven’t properly tried it but the soft lotion is gorgeous and probably the best for combination skin x
