L’Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette

So the whole contour and highlight craze is going nowhere and this brand new palette from L’Oreal Paris is really really interesting. It offers up a contour shade and a highlighter shade with quite a big point of difference – a brush that actually contours and highlights for you at the same time. Let me explain!

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette Pro-Sculpt Brush

So the clever part, and the thing that people who aren’t so confident with contouring will be interested in is the brush! L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro Contour Palette comes with the pro-sculpt brush which allows you to “define, sculpt, and enhance your features like a pro”.

It’s a very interesting looking brush that basically is shaped to curve around your cheekbone. You swipe the palette and each end picks up some contour shade and some highlight shade. You then position the brush so that the nook sits over the cheekbone and the powders contour beneath and highlight above it! Clever hey?!

I haven’t had the opportunity to try this yet, but as a contouring forever-learner, I absolutely love the concept!

The powders promise to be super-fine and buildable with a flawless, fade-proof finish. It all sounds pretty good to me. There are 3 shade options – Light, Medium and Deep – and so far they seem to be available online at Ulta for $12.99.
