I was happily scrolling through my snapchat last week (I’m obsessed) when I saw Kim Kardashian doing a bit of beauty snapping of her skincare routine. She uses A LOT of Creme de la Mer but what was really interesting in terms of price point and accessibility is that she uses these £5.90 exfoliating face wipes! I know!! Well I went and picked up a new pack from my local store immediately! Here’s the low-down on the KIKO Scrub and Peel Wipes. Kim is obsessed, will you be?

So Kim’s snap actually features the old packaging, but this is what a brand new pack of these treatment wipes look like now.

Now I love KIKO makeup and I know loads of people do too, but I think that their skincare is a little less talked about here in the UK. These wipes were actually part of the original line up when the brand launched back in 1997, and I think that KIKO is about to have a real skincare moment.

If you like a proper scrub you can feel, then you will love these wipes. They combine mechanical and enzymatic exfoliation as they have a textured side that physically lifts dead skin cells, whiles the AHAs do their work to loosen dead skin cells and promote cell renewal. Once you have done the scrubby bit, you can flip over the cloth and use to smooth side to sooth and massage the skin.

Skin literally glows in an instant. You can only use these twice a week, so I have only had the opportunity to try them twice so far, but I can tell you, they are pretty addictive and I am counting down the days until I can use them next. It’s Friday by the way. If you catch me trying to use them before then, stop me!!

Serums and creams sink in beautifully after using KIKO Scrub and Peel Wipes as the skin is literally buffed and smoothed to perfection. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend using a very light hand, in fact, I’d recommend that for all skin types. They are really very scrubby. I love that! Amazingly, they don’t leave skin tight, but actually really hydrated and plumped.

These are also excellent for dry lips. A quick buff lifts away dry flakes and with a slick of balm it’s juicy lips all the way. I promise I am not obsessed with these because Kim Kardashian is, it’s because they are AMAZING! Even after 2 uses, my skin feels softer and smoother. LOVE! I need back-ups of these for sure.

If you’re quick, you can see my skin post scrub on my snapchat here. It’s all glow! KIKO Scrub and Peel Wipes are a super bargain – just £5.90 for 20 wipes. One pack will last you for 10 weeks! Order them online HERE. I also bought the body exfoliating wipes but haven’t tried them yet. I’ll update.

Incidentally, if you’re in the mood for beauty shopping Cult Beauty are offering their amazing annual summer beauty bag. Just spend £110 to get a fantastic bag of goodies worth £175 free! Find all the details here.
