KIKO Contouring Pencil Set Review & Swatches

I briefly showed you this new little contouring kit from KIKO in my recent post about the brand’s new Rebel Romantic collection but I think it is the star of the show so I want to give you a better look. Here’s the low down on the new and very exciting KIKO Contouring Pencil Set.

For a start, hello rose gold! We all just love it don’t we? Personally I just cannot get enough of it!! And this cute little duo is such a looker. What I love about these two pencils is that you can really get to grips with sculpting the face without any fear of shimmer or glimmer. Both pencils are cream to powder mattes and nothing is shiny or sparkly. Perfect!

There are 2 shade options – 01 Light to Medium, and 02 Medium to Dark. In spite of my pale skin, I actually have 02 and have gotten on very well with it.

The pencils apply product like a dream and they blend out so easily. I simply used the buffing brush (Zoeva 102) that I used to apply my foundation to softly blend the product into my skin.

I applied the highlight shade first:

Then blended and followed with the bronzer shade:

Once it was all blended in it looked lovely and natural and my skin looked very subtly radiant.

I think you could use this before or after foundation, or possibly both depending on the kind of finish you were looking for.

Not only are these sticks super pretty and perform well, in true KIKO style they are super affordable. Only £9.90 for the two. You really can’t say fairer than that can you?
