My Review of the Jo Malone London Advent Calendar 2026

What I love about the Jo Malone London Advent Calendar every year is how beautifully it is made. The box is super sturdy and feels expensive, as if no expense has been spared. It also makes it thoroughly reusable, because this is the sort of packaging you would never want to throw away. The 2026 edition is every bit as beautiful, so once you’ve worked your way through all 25 doors, you have a very lovely box to find a use for.

The Jo Malone London Advent Calendar is always one of the ultimate festive treats and 2026 is no exception. It’s packed with those chic little treasures that make every December morning feel rather more luxurious.

This year’s line-up has a lovely balance of fragrance, body care and candles, with plenty of Jo Malone London favourites alongside some particularly tempting festive treats. There are 12 mini Colognes, including classics such as English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Blackberry & Bay and Wood Sage & Sea Salt, alongside richer Cologne Intense fragrances including Myrrh & Tonka, Cypress & Grapevine, Scarlet Poppy, Amber Labdanum and Oud & Bergamot.

I particularly love the selection of Cologne Intense fragrances this year. These little 9ml bottles are such a brilliant way to discover some of the richer, more sensual scents in the collection without committing to a full-size bottle. And, of course, they are also perfect handbag and travel sizes.

There’s a strong festive thread running through the calendar, too. Ginger Biscuit makes an appearance as a 9ml Cologne as well as a Travel Candle, while Pine & Eucalyptus arrives as another 65g Travel Candle. These are the sort of scents that instantly make a home feel more Christmassy.

The body care is just as lovely. There’s Velvet Rose & Oud Body Crème, Wild Bluebell Body Crème, Peony & Blush Suede Body & Hand Lotion, Poppy & Barley Body & Hand Lotion and several Body & Hand Washes, plus an Orange Bitters Hand Cream. I like that there is enough variety here to make the calendar feel much more interesting than simply being 25 tiny bottles of fragrance.

And then there is Door 25, which is always the moment I look forward to most. This year it contains Tangerine & Honey Cologne, 30ml, Jo Malone London’s new limited-edition fragrance created for the 2026 festive season. Getting a 30ml Cologne behind the final door feels like a particularly good way to finish the calendar, especially when it’s a brand-new Christmas fragrance.

For me, what makes the 2026 Jo Malone London Advent Calendar so special is the variety. You get Colognes, Cologne Intense fragrances, body care, hand care and candles, with a really good mixture of established favourites and seasonal scents. It feels luxurious without being repetitive, and there are plenty of pieces that I’d genuinely be excited to discover behind a door each morning.
