Tisserand Aromatherapy
I went to a brilliant launch event one morning last week where I was introduced to the amazing, truly natural products that Tisserand have to offer.
Just walking into the room, I was greeted by a harmony of the most heavenly smells, and I felt instantly calm and soothed. The range is immense, from hand creams to boath soaks, deodorants to shampoos, and traditional aromatherapy oils to pre-blended treatment roller balls.

I got to have the most gorgeous hand massage that left me feeling happy as larry and light as a feather. What an amazing way to start the day!

And now for the really good part and the bit where I appreciate what a lucky lucky girl I am. I got to have a one to one consultation with aromatherapy guru and author, Jennie Harding. Now this was completely brilliant.Jennie explained her history and revealed that she actually worked with Robert Tisserand during the early days of Tisserand’s impressive history. Robert Tisserand founded the company in the 1970s with its core message of ‘Caring Naturally’.

Jennie Harding of Tisserand

Jennie is amazing. I spoke to her about the things I like, and how I like to feel, and then she presented me with four separate essential oils, each divine – lemon, lime, bergamot and basil. Then Jennie put them together… even more divine!! It was like my favourite smell (although I had never smelt it before) just there in four cue tips!

And the bonus? Jennie is going to have it blended and sent to me. My own bespoke aromatherapy blend!! I kept the cue tips and when I smell then, and breathe in deeply, it feel like the scents go straight to my core! Truly wonderful, if a little melodramatic. Or a lot melodramatic!!

Jennie aslo told me about the Tisserand Academy where beauty professionals can gain aromatherapy qualifications via online and distance learning. Visit www.tisserand.co.uk for more information.

Tisserand Wild Rose and Lemon Leaf Deodorant

I have a few Tisserand products that I have been trying. The Wild Rose and Lemon Leaf Refreshing Deodorant (£5.65) is amazing. It’s effective and completely natural which is brilliant because I think that deodorant is often the missing link in our natural regimes.

Tisserand Sleep Roller Ball

My other wonder product so far is the ‘Sleep’ roller ball (£5.25).  I am a complete nightmare. I rush around all day, speak really really fast to try and keep up with my thoughts, sit in front of my laptop all night, and type really really fast to try and keep up with my thoughts, AND THEN I go straight to bed, at ridiculous O’clock, and expect to fall straight to sleep. Well it just doesn’t happen.

I have to say, I have been using this product, recommended to me by Jennie Harding herself, and it only bleeping works!! I put it on my wrists and behind my ears and breathe! It’s so lovely and makes me feel all fluffy and before I know it….happy sleepy time. You can’t say fairer than that. I NEVER want to be without it!

So all I can say is, I am more than pleased that I went along to the event. I have discovered some real essentials and still have more to try. I’ll will let you know about them as and when.

Before I go, a quick note on exactly how ‘natural’ the range is. It’s completely natural which means:
