I was really noticing ‘old lady neck’ last week, particularly because I wore my hair up a couple of days. Sometimes in the cold light of day, my neck tends to remind me of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons, and it strikes horror deep into the heart of me.
I am only just about coping with my lines, but neck sag is utterly horrific and unbearable. Uuuurgghhh!! Shudder…
So I dug out the Jamela neck mask I had been sent to try…
Jamela 24k gold collagen neck mask
This one is a collagen mask which concentrates on Melanin Reduction/Skin Whitening. Now I am more worried about sag than that but I was hoping the plant collagen, mineral gold dust (!) vitamin E and hyaluronic acid would get to work on that!

You pop on the mask (either side will do) and then sit very still for half an hour. I say still because it falls off very easily – laying back a bit is best. It does suggest that you leave it on over night but if I did that it would probably end up in my  pyjamas, which yes I do wear Miss BBB!!! Cheek!!
If you wanted to move around you’d have to bandage it on I think, which I would actually consider because I do like to leave things on as long as possible – even If I did suffer the vague sensation of strangulation!!! Anything not to look like Mr. Burns eh?
But because I wasn’t prepared I just went for half an hour this time and didn’t move a muscle!

And I have to say that after half an hour I was really very impressed with the instant improvement in skin tone and firmness. It felt smooth, moisturised and less saggy. The feeling lasted the evening so I’d definitely use this before a big night out. The following morning it wasn’t quite as smooth and moisturised but definitely not as bad as it had been earlier in the week.
So it’s a thumbs up. They suggest using it 2-3 times per week. They come in packs of 2 and cost £15 so that would be £7.50 a pop. I’ll save them for special occasions.
I also have these to try. My son thought they were hilarious!!

That should be fun!!
