As an exfoliation obsessive (sad I know) I have really been enjoying all the new generation powdered exfoliator that have appeared recently from brands like Givenchy, Bliss Spa and Diptyque. So I was very pleased to welcome this one from innovative skincare brand, Indeed. Here’s the low-down on Indeed Facial Powdered Exfoliator.

So this is a water-activated product that will deliver both enzymatic exfoliation and also mechanical exfoliation. This is my dream team. Enzymes to melt the dead skin cells and scrubby bits to slew them away. Well that’s how I view it anyway!
Indeed Facial Powdered Exfoliator has 5 key actives which include:
- Bamboo extract: fine yet effective exfoliation and antibacterial cleansing, with anti-acne and anti-ageing properties
- Rice bran powder: for gentle exfoliation, dirt and oil absorption and moisturisation
- Okinawa red algae: improves the skin’s barrier function and enhances moisture retention, defends from free-radical attack
- Hyaluronic acid: to hydrate skin and stimulate production of collagen
- Bromelain: enzymes found naturally in the juice and stems of pineapples, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA)for gently removing dead cells by chemical exfoliation, on the surface of the skin

It has some serious stuff going on and your skin will know it when you’ve used it. After cleansing, I tap a small amount into wet hands, mix and work into my skin for a minute. I also like to mix it with my Dyptique facial water, instead of tap water, for even more goodness!
When I rinse it away my skin is super smooth, really plump, glowy and very hydrated even with just water. All my subsequent products work really well after using it. It’s a wonderful product! What I really love is that you can custom blend it, so add a bit more if you want it scrubbier, or less if you want it smoother. Or you can customise any of your cleansers with it. Genius!!
You can buy Indeed Facial Powdered Exfoliator at Boots for £18.99. This is the cheapest powder exfoliator I have tried and it’s very effective indeed (excuse the pun!).

Sounds nice, makes me want to try it!
I haven’t used a powder exfoliator yet because they’re all so expensive and I wasn’t sure if it’s just novelty value. Your review might have changed my mind though – the price point of this is much more within reach!

I’ve never tried a powdered exfoliator before and have been curiously looking at the Indeed one in boots for a while now. I think your review has helped me decide to give it a try!
