Earlier in the year Illamasqua launched a brand new lipstick formula, Glamore, that was super creamy, not at all drying on the lips, with a lovely soft sheeny finish. This was a real switch in direction for Illamasqua and something much more wearable and accessible to the general beauty consumer looking for a ‘beauty’ look. They are gorgeous and the great news is that they are are expanding the colour range with 4 more stunning shades. There’s also a whole line up of nudes coming – more news on those very soon.

So new for the end of July 2014 we have, Vampette, Pinkie, Kitsch and Rockabilly. Here they are one by one and swatched for you!

They are stunners with Rockabilly and Kitsch coming up as faves over here! Pinkie is a very bright, light poppy pink which I find a little hard to wear and I am going to be brave and try out Vampette soon. I will post photos of these on my lips as soon as I can.
And just so you have them all here together and can see the full 7 shade Glamore line up, here are the original 3 shades that launched in February 2014. We have Luster, Soaked and Glissade:

The Illamasqua Glamore line is a wonderfully wearable range but still with that edge that Illamasqua is famous for. It is becoming more mainstream but not without retaining its signature qualities that the brand is so well loved for. Being able to recognise the need to change is a tricky thing, but I think that Illamasqua are evolving beautifully. Old customers won’t be let down and news ones won’t be scared!
The new Glamore lipstick shades – Vampette, Pinkie, Kitsch and Rockabilly – will be available from July 2014. Find the current shades HERE. Also, as I said, there’s a brand new nudes collection coming from the Glamore line too. Stay tuned for swatches!
