Yay! Look what’s next from Hourglass! It’s a brand new setting powder in the Veil franchise. I have it here to show you with photos and swatches. Enjoy!
Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder Features
So the Mineral Veil Primer from Hourglass has earned itself iconic status for perfecting the skin, minimising redness, pores and lines, and basically making skin look more flawless.

The next step in flawlessness is a translucent setting powder and it is absolutely lovely! This is the perfect powder for people that are scared of powder (me!). It doesn’t look cakey or flat, but it takes away shine and gives a gorgeous glow. What is this magic?!

- Super fine translucent powder
- Formulated to set foundation
- For use all over the face
- Provides a humidity resistant layer to increase the wear time of makeup
- Absorbs excess oil and sebum
- Leaves a luminous finish
- Powder dispensed through an ‘H’ logo in the pot

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder Swatch
It’s a super fine powder and gives the skin a lovely luminosity thanks to the Mica, Saphire and Diamond powder it uses. It gives the skin a very pretty finish. You only need the lightest touch to set.

The powder leaves a lovely silky feel and gives makeup a good humidity resistant layer to keep your makeup looking flawless for longer. It also works to absorb sebum and excess oil.

Skin is left looking shine-free but not flat or too matte or with the look of powder which I absolutely love. I don’t want anything to take away my glow and this just gives it even more of a soft glow without any glitter!! It’s glorious.

Do you think this will start to look cakey in a few hours? I have “mature” skin, omg how I hate that word lol and I’m afraid it will settle in the fine lines.
it has really helped with how my makeup lasts. You only need a small amount so it doesn’t cake xxx
Wow, I love Hourglass products and it looks like this might be a worthy successor to my beloved but, sadly, discontinued Dior Capture Totale loose powder! I’ve been searching for so long, hopefully the search will be over.
Yay thank you for the quick review! Just spotted it on the sephora website today accidentally. Do you think this would work well on dry skin? And under the eyes? (:
yes totally!!
