OK so this mascara says it will give you 400% more volume and apparently that’s clinically tested! Check out the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara. I love the packaging which is just like the Vanish foundation and highlighter sticks.
So interestingly, I have never tried an Hourglass mascara before. For me, the brand has mainly been about skin with the ambient lighting powders, the Vanish foundation and highlighters and the Veil products, but I think it is about to become all about the eyes! Especially as they are launching a range of brand new eyeshadow pots called Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow which is absolutely gorgeous. More on that soon.
Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara Features

As I said, I love the packaging, but this isn’t just because it looks great. The triangular shape makes the wand really comfortable to hold and you can get a good grip to really get into the root of the lashes.
Before & After
As always, my favourite part of a mascara review is the before and after photos!
Here is one eye with one application:
The formula and brush delivers instant volume and definitely gives my lashes a real lift. I love it!! Also, in this hot weather, I have found that my mascara has been transferring a little to my under eye area, but I haven’t had that problem with this.
What I really love about it is the lift that it gives. I hate eyelash curlers because I just don’t trust myself not to do a sudden movement and rip all my lashes out! Luckily you don’t need them with Hourglass Caution because the brush really grips the lashes at the base and lifts them up, then the formula locks them in place.
You don’t need loads of coats because you get a great effect in one application, and I also think it’s really good on the lower lashes.
The Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara is £25 and is available HERE.
