I knew that I liked Holly Willoughby, for all the obvious reasons – her TV charisma, her gorgeous hair, super fresh skin and her lovely curves – but now I REALLY like her!!

She was natural and friendly and charming and open, and I got a really good feeling about her. Phewph! What a relief. When someone seems really nice on telly there is always that massive risk that they won’t live up to what you hope they’ll be in person…but I can breathe easy!

So this was all about Holly Willoughby as the new face of Oral B’s latest product innovation, Oral B 3D White, and as a smile obsessive myself, I was super excited to find out about it.

Oral B’s new ambassador, Dr Uchenna Okoye and Holly talked us through the new toothpaste.

Dr Okoye told us that Oral B 3D white promises to deliver visibly whiter teeth in 2 weeks. Its dual silica systems lifts surface stains and its Pyrophosphate technology (like that word!) kind of primes teeth to prevent any further staining.

Holly vouches for its effectiveness and said that it has totally replaced her old toothpaste. From what she said, she is a bit of a teeth obsessive herself, and like me had a brace for years and admitted to having a ‘weird thing with flossing’. Teeth are a serious business!
In her job, a smile is incredibly important for putting people at ease on ‘This Morning’ – she said that she is always asking Philip Schofield if she has anything in her teeth, and he often says she has, even if she hasn’t!

Holly’s hair was looking beautiful and much blonder than I remembered – she told me that it had lightened up a bit when she had been in the sun recently. It really is a lovely blonde – looks really expensive.
I asked her what lipstick she likes to use to make her teeth even whiter and she said she likes reds like MAC’s Russian Red or Ruby Woo. Dr Okoye added that colours with blue tones will always make teeth look whiter. So there’s a top tip!
It was a thoroughly delightful evening and I am now well and truly in the Holly Willoughby fan club!
