I have been trying out a new shampoo and conditioner from Herbalife – the Herbal Aloe Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner duo. Having not been at all familiar with the brand (although I think I had some nutrition associations from conversations with someone I know) it was quite fun to try out something completely new to me in hair care.
The Herbal Aloe range is described as “rich in essential vitamins and minerals …Infused with botanical ingredients, and free from all harmful parabens and sulphates”, so it’s a super gentle range.
An independent clinical strengthening and breakage study indicated if the shampoo and conditioner were used together it would improve hair breakage by 90% after just one use. Exciting!!
The products contain wheat protein and aloe vera to help protect, repair and strengthen hair. The shampoo feels nourishing and moisturising but also feels like it is thoroughly cleansing the hair. The conditioner is fairly light and leaves the hair feeling silky smooth as it washes out. It isn’t too heavy on the hair.
The shampoo and conditioner also have colour preserving properties which always reassures me as I do like to dabble with hair colour every now and then!
Having recently ombred my hair, the lengths and ends are prone to dryness but the Herbalife Herbal Aloe range has really addressed this.
My ultimate test for shampoo and conditioner is to attempt to brush through my wet hair before I have applied any serums or oils. Very often this is a tough job, but my brush went though fairly easily after using the Herbal Aloe duo. Result.
My hair definitely does feel stronger and more hydrated and also looks very shiny. So I am giving the range a thumbs up!
The Herbalife Herbal Aloe Strengthening Shampoo & Conditioner could £9.22 for 250ml – visit products.herbalife.co.uk for more information.
