This is a complete first for Head & Shoulders. After 50 years of sticking to shampoo and conditioner to control scalp conditions, this year sees the launch of Head & Shoulders Thick & Strong Extra Thickening Treatment – a potential wonder product!
Head & Shoulders Thick & Strong Extra Thickening Treatment
Coined as a “hair and confidence boost in a bottle”, Head & Shoulders Thick & Strong Extra Thickening Treatment has been designed for those of us with fine, weak or thinning hair. It promises to deliver an instant strengthening and thickening boost whilst still tackling dandruff or scalp issues.
Whilst I don’t have fine hair, I do have scalp issues and also I love big hair and never say no to extra volume. A very bad haircut last year gave me a glimpse of what it’s like to have thinner hair than I wanted, and also I have a friend whose fine hair causes her no end of worry. I think this product will become a welcome addition to many a hair care wardrobe.
Head & Shoulders Thick & Strong Extra Thickening Treatment claims to double to look of hair from the first use (if used with the accompanying shampoo and conditioner in the Thick & Strong range) so I am going to give it a go!
This is how it works:
Protect: It protects the scalp and hair
Enhance: It enhances the hair by thickening hair fibres immediately
Prevent: It strengthens the hair fibres from the root for thicker, stronger looking hair over time
It does this using a ‘triple active complex’ that combines panthenol, niacinamide, and caffeine. All you do is wash, condition and towel dry the hair, then spritz Head & Shoulders Thick & Strong Extra Thickening Treatment into the scalp and then blow dry on a medium heat setting.
You can also use it as a styling spray on the mid lengths and ends to add texture for a beachy look. You don’t need to have dandruff to use this as great hair is all about scalp health for everyone.
