Hyaluronic Acid is a skincare wonder ingredient. Famed for its ability to absorb up to 1000 times its own weight in water, it is the number one agent when it comes to skin hydration. Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate not only contains 99.5% pure Hyaluronic Acid but also a mushroom-derived complex, Tremela Fuciformis, which has the power to amplify Hyaluronic Acid’s hydrating power by 400 times! As if HA wasn’t amazing enough already!!

Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate Review |
Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate has been formulated for the hands and body and I have been using it straight after the shower on slightly damp skin when the tiniest amount slips and slides all over skin locking in moisture. It feels slightly tacky at first, however, that disappears fairly quickly. Once it feels dry I use a tiny bit of regular body lotion over the top. The Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate super-charges my moisturiser and the result is soft, hydrated, juicy skin.
The mushroom ingredient also boosts the production of elastin and prevents the degradation of micro-blood vessels in the skin which results in improvements in lines and wrinkles. There’s also Red Marine Algae and Tamarind which work on increased cell turnover, hydration, elasticity and texture.
TOP TIP: When I am in a rush, which is basically always, I just mix a tiny pump of Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate into regular body lotion and whack it on. It makes a small amount of lotion go way further and really enhances its moisturising power. This is a great way to make your more expensive moisturisers last tonnes longer. It works really well with my Elemis Gradual Tanner and seems to make it even easier to avoid tanning mistakes.
Can you use it on your face?
Well. Although Deciem don’t say that Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate is suitable for use on the face, I suspect this is 100% down to the fact that there are ‘Non-Compete’ restrictions in place for Deciem’s Brandon Truaxe who was the former CEO of Indeed Labs. It basically means that, for legal reasons, Deciem aren’t free to produce face products.
However, Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate contains 99.5% PURE Hyaluronic Acid plus the special mushroom which makes it almost super-powered, and as far as I am concerned, my face needs it!!
I use 2 small pumps to apply a thick layer over my face as a mask, leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse it away before continuing with my regular lotions and potions. It’s a very special skin treat for plump and super hydrated skin.
Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate comes in a massive 240ml bottles with an easy to use pump for £27.99. A little goes a very long way so be careful not to go too mad with it wherever you use it!! It’s available at Boots from May 2014.

Oh I definitely need this, I’d say this would last ages as well
I will definitely be buying this! I was only thinking last week that my hands could do with a huge dose of hydration & I love the idea of using it as an intensive face mask.
As someone who suffers from extremely dry skin on my hands and body, this is something that I will definitely be picking up when it becomes available.
