Well you probably already know that I am a fan of the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Facial Wax Strips to keep on top of my upper lip hair situation so kindly pointed out by ‘Anon’ – read about that here. Here’s what I think about the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Body Wax Strips.
Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Body Wax Strips are part of a brand new range from Nair that contain skin kind ingredients for extra pampering as well as effectiveness. They contain mineral rich clay, soothing mango butter and nourishing acai.

I tested these out on the fronts of my lower legs and my bikini line.
Now when it comes to beauty, I am pretty hardcore, and if there’s a good result to be had, I don’t really feel the pain that much! But I can judge about the level of pain and I would say that this really wasn’t too bad.
Now I usually shave so the hairs are really rather coarse and thick – the type that can be quite resistant to waxing. However, I felt that the strips still did quite a good job. There were a few hairs that it just couldn’t get, probably due to the differing growth cycles, so I got to work on those with my tweezers (a strange pleasure!).
I chose to only do the fronts of my legs mainly because I have much more hair there and I couldn’t really reach the back myself that well. I actually used the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Shower Power Cream on the backs of my legs (I have a review of that coming up).
It took about 15 minutes to do the fronts of my legs and my bikini line, with about 10 minutes of plucking fun thrown in!
When it came to the bikini line, it was also a fairly simple job. Two strips and it was done. I found it fairly painless, but as I said, not much phases me on the beauty pain scale. The redness for both my legs and bikini line were fairly short lived.
I have made sure that I exfoliated both areas well. I use the Melvita Extra Gentle Body Scrub (review here) which I found gentle enough to use straight away and I have had no ingrown hair issues.
The box says it can last up to 4 weeks, but I am now 2 weeks in and I think I am ready to do it again. However, I imagine that the effect is cumulative – and that the more you use them, the slower the regrowth could be.
I shall keep you updated on that!

The Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Body Wax Strips cost £6.69 and are available from Boots, Asda, Sainsbbury’s and Tesco.

Please let me know if you have any home hair removal questions – I am becoming quite an expert!
