I get very excited about foundation and having recently discovered the delights of Lingerie de Peau from Guerlain, I was thrilled to discover they are launching a brand new version of it for Autumn 2017. It’s all about that nude effect that the beauty industry is obsessed with. It is beautiful by the way. This gorgeous new base focuses on delivering a delicate touch to the skin with subtlety and the look of well-being. It promises to be natural, almost invisible and imperceptible make-up –  “like fine, transparent lingerie”.

This foundation has such a light texture that feels like silk on the skin. It smells amazing too – the classic Guerlain Iris scent that’s so comforting and soothing. Although the texture is ultra-fine, it delivers impressive skin-perfecting coverage and I love the way it makes my skin look. It melts into the skin, veiling imperfections and blurring visible pores. When I touch my skin, it doesn’t feel like I am wearing anything but skincare. It lasted really well on my skin too.
