My Review

- Easy to apply
- Flattering finish on the skin
- Comfortable feeling
I think these are the perfect bronzers to be applied on bare skin for a gorgeous, glowing naturally sun kissed look. The whole Glossier vibe is a ‘less is more’ no makeup makeup look, and this new launch fits perfectly with that.
Because I am really not a less is more kind of person, I tested it over foundation and got a really lovely result. You have to make sure that you build it slowly, and tap in the product to blend rather than rub. This way you make sure that you don’t disturb the makeup underneath, which is often the main concern with cream or liquid products.
I tested Flare first which I think is great for a really soft tint of warmth on lighter complexions.

For a bronzier look, I tried Ray which is a little more intense, but still looks natural on my skin tone.
I found that powder blush (the Pat McGrath Divine Blush in Lovestruck) layers really nice over it.
In terms of longevity, I found it to be pretty long lasting, and could still see it on my skin when I was cleansing before bed. I didn’t apply it until about 3pm, so I’d say I got at least 7 hours out of it.
Also, I popped a bit on my eye lids just to bring the look together, and I found this worked really well. I am a huge fan of using bronzer as an eyeshadow, so I am pleased this worked with the Solar Paints too.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I am always around to chat over on Instagram.
