When I heard about Glossier FutureDew I instantly felt like it was the product I never knew I desperately needed. Designed to give you that ‘just-applied-skincare’ glow that lasts, this is an oil-serum hybrid product that speaks directly to my desire for wet-look skin. I have been trying it out, here’s how I got on.
I was so excited to start trying this! I feel like I fall more in love with the idea of glossy skin, as every day goes by. I know some people prefer a more matte look as they get older, but I am all about skiny skin, and I want it even if I look a teensy bit sweaty. I just love shine.

My Review of Glossier FutureDew
I literally ran to get this on my face. The idea is that it is the last step in your skincare, the last thing you pop on before your makeup. Here’s a picture of it freshly applied to my face.
I then applied the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation over it, which is luminous but on the matte side. It definitely amps up the glow.
I loved the way my skin looked thoughout the day. I’m not sure that the glow stayed for 12 hours – I feel like it does eventually kind of evaporate like the ‘just-applied-skincare’ glow does, but it does extend that look and feel of glossy, glowy skin. I’d like it to stay looking glossy for a bit longer, but maybe it would do that with a glowier foundation. I shall keep on testing.
Next I really want to try mixing it into foundation, so I’ll let you know how that goes. Glossier doesn’t mention you can use it this way, but I feel like it’s the perfect texture to be a blending medium. I’m excited to try that and will attempt to update you on that soon.
