This is the kind of beauty product that really gets me excited! It looks good, it sounds good and it is good!!! Yay! Plus, when someone says ‘world first’ I always listen. This is GLAMGLOW Bright Mud Eye Treatment, the world’s first mud mask for eyes.

I really love the GLAMGLOW Youth Mud and so had high hopes for this version for eyes which promises to target Dark Circles, Puffiness, Fine Lines and Tired Eyes. I don’t really suffer with dark circles, but I have all the other bits so gave it a first go this morning.
First up it all looks incredible and I love the packaging and presentation.

Each treatment comes in what GLAMGLOW are calling Chrome Cells, so each bubble is enough product for 1 eye meaning you use 1 package per treatment. Personally, I thought that was quite a lot of product for such a small area, so I think you could just peel it back half way and get 2 treatments out of 1 Chrome Cell.

I tapped it on just where I’d put eye cream and let it do its work for 3 minutes.
BRIGHTMUD has a “unique bioactive mud formula that contains 14% Nitroffeine – a powerful combination of six caffeine sources – 5% Juvalene designed to activate Retinol-like activity for instant and visible results, a new cocktail of radical anti ageing molecules unique to GLAMGLOW CY – Cyclicpeptide.
As with the GLAMGLOW YouthMud, it contains TEAOXI Peppermint Leaf Technology essential for cooling and de-puffing.
BrightMud feels really good – nice and tingly and really like it is getting to work – and perfect to wake up tired eyes first thing in the morning. After 3 minutes I wiped away the excess (and the peppermint leaves) with a dry tissue and the treatment was finished.
The entire eye area was plump, firm and hydrated, my fine lines were smoothed out and the skin was bright. I couldn’t have asked for more really.
I actually found that foundation was enough and I was able to skip concealer under the eyes. I’d say that was fairly conclusive! The instructions state that you can use it over makeup but personally I can’t see how the wiping action would work and you’d probably have to re-apply your base. I’d prefer to use it as a makeup prep anyway.
GLAMGLOW Bright Mud Eye Treatment costs £44.99 for 12 Chrome Cells, but if you use it the way I intend to, with 1 pod per treatment rather than 2, you get 24 treatments which is pretty amazing value. It works out well under £2 a go. BARGAIN and so much fun!

  1. Hi, can I know what does it means do not allow product to dry. If product dries, wash off with water. Is it means that do not let the mudmask dry on our eyes? thanks
