Cleansing is one of my favourite things in life, after applying makeup. Funny isn’t it? I seem to like taking it off nearly as much as I love putting it on! Anyway, I have been enjoying the new Giorgio Armani Prima Oil In Gel Foaming Cleanser so I thought I’d tell you about it. Here are the details.
A new addition to the Armani Prima line, this promises to cleanse like an oil and gel in one step.
Giorgio Armani Prima Oil In Gel Foaming Cleanser Features
- Dual-action cleanser
- Gentle cleansing powers of a foam
- Makeup-removing benefits of an oil
- Works on waterproof makeup
- Delicate formula is made with sweet almond oil to cleanse gently and thoroughly
- Exfoliating complex of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and LHA cleanse, purify, and exfoliate the skin
- Skin is left instantly refreshed and more radiant over time.

How to use it
So you can use the Giorgio Armani Prima Oil In Gel Foaming Cleanser in two ways. One way is to apply it onto dry skin and then massage it in to break down makeup up night. You work it in, then add water to create a soft foam and then rinse it away. It is a very effective makeup remover although I have been using a separate bi-phase eye makeup remover for residual mascara (current fave is the La Roche-Posay Respectissime one ). It leaves my skin super soft to the touch which I think is down to the exfoliating acid complex it uses.

The other way to use it is probably best suited to the morning when you can use it as more of a wash by applying it to wet skin. This gives a lovely light cleanse.. I didn’t really expect to love this product but it’s really nice and although it’s pricey, it isn’t extortionate and definitely not bad value for money.
I like the melting gel texture a lot – it is very comfortable on the skin.

I do enjoy using an oil to remove my makeup. It’s so easy and works so well. I didn’t know Armani had this. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
