Skincare Essence

I love that this cushion foundation includes an essence in the formula. It is made from a water-in-oil emulsion and works to smooth lines and blur imperfections. It also nourishes the skin using Litchi extract, glycerine and hyaluronic acid and promises to deliver 18 hours of hydration.

Colour Essence

The formula uses volatile ingredients that evaporate on contact with the skin which creates a cooling sensation and leaves behind a veil of long-lasting colour. The colour fuses with the skin thanks to ultra-fine pearlescent beads that give a gorgeous natural looking glow.

Light Essence

The finish of the Giorgio Armani My Armani To Go Cushion Foundation is luminous yet matte. It achieves this by keeping the formula very clean. It is infused with a light reflective polymer and is very low in fillers which dull the skin. Liquid Biron brightens the skin and silk-in-sphere technology delivers a soft focus glow.

Unique Applicator

The applicator is particularly good. Not only is it shaped to reach all angles of the face, it also use smart fabric, a neopora, which expertly buffs the essence into the skin, enhancing glow.

At the moment, it looks like this product is launching only for light to medium skin tones. I am not sure why that is, but I’ll try to find out. I have shade 4 here to show you:

The full shade line is 2, 3, 4, 4.5, 5 and 5.5.

The formula is gorgeous. It melts into the skin and leaves colour and coverage without texture. You can layer it up to your desired coverage and it doesn’t ever get thick looking or cakey.

Before & After

As I said, the formula goes on so beautifully. It almost disappears into the skin the moment it touches it, evening out tone and minimising the look of pores and lines as it goes.

I loved how I could layer it up under my eyes to brighten without it sinking into my lines. I wore it without concealer and just a touch of my La Mer bronzer. My skin looked luminous and juicy.

The packaging is gorgeous. It feels really expensive and opens and closes with a satisfying click.
