Gel Perfect 5 Minute Gel Manicure Review – No UV Needed! From Nutra Nail.

Well I spotted this very exciting UV free Gel Nails kit in New Orleans with Boots Latest Finds and jumped straight on them! As all the terms for Boots taking Nutra Nail Gel Perfect hadn’t yet been agreed I couldn’t really blog about it, but it’s all out in the open now so here goes!

To be fair, I was pretty blown away by the Red Carpet Maninicure home gel nails system but, my goodness, this is something else!!! Nutra Nail Gel Perfect is the first and only Gel Colour Technology that doesn’t need a UV light to set.
Once you get the hang of Gel Perfect, it literally takes 5 minutes to get actual gel finish nails, without the need for UV light! It is incredible!! The top photo really doesn’t do the shine justice.
All you do it give your nails a little tidy – you know the drill …cuticles, file, buff… then you get cracking with the mini routine. And this is it:
- Cover 3 nails with the Gel Perfect Activator (be generous)
- Cover the same 3 nails with the Gel Perfect Gel Colour (be stingy – thin coat)
- Do the same to the remaining 2 nails on that hand
- Wipe off the brush and swap it for the one in the brush cleaner bottle
- Repeat all of the above
- Finish with a final coat of Gel Perfect Activator
Make sure the seal the ends at each step – One hand done! You shouldn’t touch them for at least 30 seconds but when you do, you’ll find they have set rock solid with a super shine! Amazing. Then you do the other hand. It’s as easy as that. You get all the shine and strength of a professional Gel Manicure without the hassle, expense and time commitment.

Nutra Nail Gel Perfect 5 Minute Gel Colour Manicure is launching into Boots on 9th September 2013 for £14.99. Excellent! Oh and I hear that Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE is set to be the UK ambassador – but I honestly don’t think that a product as great as this will see much benefit from that!!
Note on removal – You can buy Nutra Nail No Mess Express remover sachet – will blog that soon – or just use acetone on pads in foil for 2 minutes then wipe.

I brought this in Orlando I was so excited brought it back to the uk and used it twice and it chipped within 24 hours. Wish I had as good of luck with it I was so excited for a non UV polish 🙁

How did you find the lasting power Ree? If it stays for a couple of weeks like regular gels then it’d be worth it!

The Gel Activator says ‘cyanoacrylate’ though – isn’t that superglue?

Yeah it does kind of feel like super glue. Easy to get off and nails were fine

How long did it last in the end? They sell this on iherb for £7!
It stayed intact until I removed it – I only left it a week though.
