Last week I told you about Garnier’s latest skincare launch, Garnier Miracle Skin Cream and Eye Cream. Now that I have had a chance to play with it a bit I thought I’d show you some swatches and before and after photos.

It comes out as a white cream like this:

And when you blend it the micro pigments activate like this:

As you can see, it definitely has a perfecting effect on the skin. I found the best way to apply it is to smooth it on because if you over work it, it tends to gather in the pores a bit. The coverage is not as good as a foundation but this will definitely be something I’ll turn to on days that I don’t want to wear makeup, particularly as it has added skincare and anti-ageing benefits – get the info in my first post HERE.
Think of this like a BB cream as it includes SPF. It will be perfect on days when you don’t want to make a huge effort but still want to care for your skin and enhance your complexion. It think it is a great product for men too.  It promises absolutely loads of skin benefits:
  • LHA stimulates surface skin cell renewal
  • Pro-retinol known to stimulate collagen synthesis
  • Vitamin C derivative helps to stimulate collagen production
  • Vitamin B3 provides antioxidant action
  • Vitamin B5 reinforces hydrolipidic barrier
  • Firming peptides stimulates collagen production
  • Ginger extract known for anti-oxidant properties
  • SPF 20 helps protect from photo-induced skin ageing effects
Garnier Miracle Skin Cream and Miracle Eye Cream is available from Boots for £12.99.
