Did you know that there are 22 muscles located in the area under your eye and 14 of these are active every 10 seconds? The skin under the eye is also the thinnest skin on the face, making it the most likely area of your face to show signs of aging and tiredness. Since the eyes are the first thing anyone notices when they look at you, this is the area you’ll want looking its best. The under eye is a big problem area for a lot of people, an effective solution with speedy results would be most welcome. I’ve been trying the Filorga Optim -Eyes Patches to see if they are the answer.

Filorga’s Optim-Eyes eye patches promise to reduce dark circles, puffiness and under eye wrinkles in just 15 minutes. The active ingredients include-
Vitamin PP– stimulate micro-circulation and reduce congestion
Cornflour Water– a natural astringent
Witch Hazel Extract– helps tighten and reduces puffiness
Carrageenan Gel– a mineral and polysaccharide- rich algae which delivers moisture
Filorga is a French company that makes medical fillers and chemical peels as well as anti ageing skincare. Knowing that Filorga make medical products, I was really excited to try their Optim-Eyes Patches
Filorga Optim-Eyes Patches Review
Optic-Eyes patches come in a box of 8 pots of two patches for £38. I really like the monochrome packaging and the foil covered pods that the shiny black patches come in, it all looks so luxe. The patches themselves are very moist and surrounded by a serum like liquid. Filorga provides a spatula to apply the patches, but I admit I had to use my fingers to get them into place.
The instructions say to wear the patches for 15 minutes and that some tingling is normal while the patches are doing their thing. I didn’t experience any tingling myself. The patches are very moist so they don’t have enough “stick” to keep them on securely, they will glide down somewhat but I think the makes for a perfect excuse to lie down and relax.
The moisture is absorbed into the skin and when the patches are removed my eye area looks refreshed and smooth. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves-

The puffiness is gone, wrinkles are reduced and I look like I’ve had a nights sleep. They’re not exactly cheap at £38 for eight, Filorga recommends using them 3 times weekly so the box is only going to last 3 and a bit weeks. But I think that if you have a troublesome under eye and a big event coming up, they are worth it, because they work.
I would totally recommend Filorga Optim-Eyes Patches particularly if you have an event you want to look your best for (like a wedding), they really do work wonders.
