Righty-ho people. I have a brand new fake tan love and it is quite a bit more devoted than any fake tan love I have felt before! Say hello to my new beauty best friend, Fake Bake Original Self Tan Lotion.

This stuff is absolutely brilliant. Now it looks a bit scary when it comes out, as it is dark and treacly looking, but you mustn’t worry about this. It blends out like an absolute dream, it really does!

What you get is an absolutely gorgeous instant colour, that rubs in easily (using the gloves provided), it moisturises the skin and doesn’t have the dreaded ‘gone off’ stench that many tans have.
I am going to scatter some pics throughout this post. Remember without fake tan, I make a bottle of milk look brown!

It sinks in so nicely that I am more than happy to get dressed and go about my business. Of course, I avoid sweating, but then I generally always do! It is best to apply at night though, to give it the longest time possible to develop without any interference from life.

It develops over a number of hours (the longer the better) and when you wash off the colour guide, which you should do with just water and no soap, you are left with a gorgeous, natural looking tan that really flatters the skin. You can apply more if you want to go darker, or do a light application if you just want to take to edge of the whiteness!

Now to be honest, there are lots of tans that can do this. But what impresses me most about the Fake Bake Original Self Tan Lotion is how evenly is goes on to problem areas like ankles, knees and elbows, how long it lasts (1 week MINIMUM) and how even and gradual the fade is.

Last week, I wore open toe sandals for a whole day and with all my other fake tans I would have come home to a sandal shaped white mark (my natural skin colour as I NEVER go in the sun) where the tan has rubbed off. With the Fake Bake, the tan was still flawless when I got home.
It was quite incredible, and you will only realise how important this is if you rely on fake tan 365 days a year to look alive. Being a sun-phobe, my skin is practically blue without it! The white sandal mark has been the bane of my life in the past.

So basically, this is my favourite tan ever. Of course I love others, but for long lasting natural colour and a completely even fade, it really is the one to beat.
Fake Bake Original Self Tan Lotion costs £26.95 for 170mls and is worth every single penny. Go to www.fakebake.co.uk for more info.
