I absolutely love the Hyaluron-Filler range from medical skincare brand Eucerin, so I was super excited to try out the latest addition to the collection. Here’s the low down on the Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster. It’s super effective and has just 11 ingredients.
As you’ll probably have guessed from the name of this product, it is all about boosting hydration levels. It has a simple ingredient list but a very sophisticated formula.
What is Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster?
This serum has been designed to be used as the first step after cleansing and before your creams or oils:
- Super-hydrating ultra-light transparent gel
- Loaded with two different sizes of Hyaluronic Acid for 24-hour moisturisation
- Fast absorbing water-gel texture
- Doesn’t overload the skin
- Plumps up the surface skin from within by attracting and binding water to the skin
The Hyaluronic Acid Components in Moisture Booster
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster uses a combination of highly concentrated medium and short-chained Hyaluronic acid. The short chain Hyaluronic Acid is a smaller molecule and can penetrate deeper in to skin to really plump.
The medium chain HA molecules, are larger moelcules and as such remain on the skin’s surface attracting water and binding it to the skin and hydrating the surface.
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster Ingredients
Aqua, Alcohol Denat, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate Citric Acid, BHT, Parfum
I really love the texture of this serum. It’s a water-gel consistency that absorbs into the skin beautifully. It is slightly tackly for a minute or so after application and then it dries down very effectively.
It leaves the skin feeling quenched, smooth and deeply hydrated, and moisturiser applies really nicely on top. The packaging says Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster is suitable for first lines, but frankly, I think this is a really nice addition to any skincare regime, especially if you want to add in a really effective hydrator and plump up the look of the skin. It makes my skin feel really fresh and comfortable and I think it’s a brilliant HA serum.
