Exciting! There’s a brand new foundation from Estee Lauder and I have been waiting to get my hands on this for well feels like forever! Well I have it now and here’s a look at it for you. Check out Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup SPF25.

This foundation is the makeup extension of Estee Lauder’s Perfectionist skincare line which deals with smoothing lines and wrinkles and lifting and firming the skin. Well if they can put all that good stuff into the foundation, then I am totally up for that!

Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup SPF25, shade 3N1 Ivory Beige Swatch

Estee Lauder Perfectionist is a anti-wrinkle serum that contains CPR-75 Technology. It is proven to significantly reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and fast! In trials 78% of women said it immediately smoothed the look of their lines and wrinkles. If that skincare can effectively transfer itself the foundation then there are going to be some very happy girls out there!
Unfortunately, the sample I have is too dark for but as I am determined to show you what Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup is like on the skin, I have made it work the best I can. And as luck would have it, I have fake tanned so it didn’t hurt to attempt to match my face to my boody!

Right! I really really like this! The smell of it reminds of a very ‘serious’ and expensive foundation I owned years ago but I can’t for the life of me think what it was! It goes on really nicely as it has a beautiful fluid texture and blended in pretty seamlessly using just my fingers. Pretty impressive considering that this shade is potentially 2 shades darker than I need.
Shade aside, I absolutely love Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup on my skin. It very very smoothing and perfecting and it has evened out pigmentation and redness with a very natural looking finish. It looks very much like natural skin and feels very light which is great considering it contains SPF25.

As you can see the finish is invisible yet it has blended away pigmentation and reduced the appearance of pores. It smooths out lines and doesn’t sit in them. Just what we need! It might just be me, but I think it gives the skin a more lifted appearance. There’s quite a lot of technology going on here I suspect, so some sculpting action is more than likely! I can’t wait to try a lighter shade.
Talking of which, Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup SPF25 comes in 22 shades (yay!) and it is available 1st September 2014. There is also a Sculpting Foundation Brush that goes with it – I haven’t seen that yet though. The foundation and the brush cost £37 each. Check out the Perfectionist range HERE.
