Last night I went along to Kensington Palace to meet Estee Lauder’s new fragrance Modern Muse Eau de Parfum.

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Parfum Review
I was instantly in love with the bottle’s construction and colours – blush pink with navy and gold accents. I love bows and this has a strong yet delicate 3D bow on it’s spray through lid which means it will the bottle always has its bow tied – perfectly dressed at all times!

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Parfum Review
Estee Lauder’s Modern Muse presents a new fragrance concept based on the “dual impression” structure of two 2 contrasting accords – one floral, the other woody.
The Sparkling Jasmine Accord has notes of Mandarin, Honeysuckle Nectar, two extractions of Jasmine Sambac and Jasmine Sambac China Absolute (new to the perfumery palette), Tuberose Fleur and Fresh Lily. It’s such a wonderful blend of florals.
The Sleek Woods Accord brings the depth, earthiness and sensuality with an innovative blend of two Patchouli essences, Madagascar Vanilla, rich Amber Wood and soft Musk.
The 2 accords balance in soft, strong harmony and the Modern Muse inspiration is a woman that’s soft yet strong and confidient – the “heroine of her own life”. I like that a lot.
Estee Lauder Modern Muse is available nationwide (John Lewis, Debenhams, House of Fraser) today (18th September 2013) and prices start at £44 for 30ml.
