Estee Lauder French Nudes Nail Collection

I think the world is going to love this gorgeous new nail  collection from Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer – the French Nudes. They are the definition of Chic!

All the shades look just delicious and are milky, or chocolatey or moussey or champagne truffly in the most edible kind of way! From left to right I give you Ballerina Pink, Nudite, So Vain and Diabolique. There is also a shade I don’t have called Bittersweet. That is more of a brown, but not as dark as Diabolique.

Tom Pecheux is calling these ‘foundation for nails’. This is interesting because my little boy commented that he couldn’t see the point of the ones nearer to my skin tone and that it just looked like nails. I tried to explain that they are supposed to look like my nails but the perfect version. He seemed a bit baffled!! Maybe he needs a chat with Tom – he does like to get involved.

If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you’ll know that I had a huge problem trying to decide which one to paint my nails with first. So to start off with, I painted my nails with them all (quite roughly sorry):

This shot is an iPad pic and doesn’t have the best light, so they are coming up a bit darker, but it gave me a fairly good indicator on what to choose.

Because I wanted the ‘foundation for nails’ effect, I narrowed it down to Ballerina Pink and Nudite. And pretty much everyone on twitter and instagram agreed. So Vain and Diabolique are gorge but I think I’ll save those for another day – maybe a day I am wearing more fake tan!
