If you are a regular around here, you’ll know I adore cleansing balms, so you can imagine my glee when I discovered that Estee Lauder have launched one as part of their Advanced Night franchise!! All good skincare starts with the cleanse and this one has been formulated specifically to prepare your skin for the night time repair process. Here is everything you need to know about the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm.

- Suitable for all skin types including oily as it won’t clog pores
- Lavender and chamomile aromatic blend to calm and soothe the senses

The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm has been designed to be applied over dry skin. It has a beautifully lightweight melting texture which transforms into a silky cleansing oil as you work it into the sin. With the addition of water, it then turns into a milky emulsion that rinses easily away. I use a face cloth to remove it but you can just rinse it away with water.

You can use this as a first or second cleanse. It is excellent at breaking down makeup on its own, but I prefer to remove my makeup first with a micellar water so I can allow the balm to really treat and clean my skin.

There is also an Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam in the range which I haven’t tried but you might be interested in this if you like something lighter than a balm.

Ooh that sounds interesting, I’m a recent convert to the ANR serum and am loving it. Is this safe for use on the eyes? Having mild rosacea I’ve read on various websites that I should avoid skincare containing oil, do you know if that is correct or not?
I have used it on the eyes. I am not sure about rosacea but I do know that Eucerin is great if you have any skin conditions x
