Emjoi Micro Nail Electric Nail Polisher Review

Well you know how much I love my nails but the funny thing is, my nails really aren’t good on their own without a lot of help. People always thinks it’s odd because I have such strong hair, but I think it’s because my hair takes all the good stuff. Anyway, I have been trialling the Emjoi Micro Nail Electric Nail Polisher and here are my thoughts!

I say trialling, but I have actually only used this once, but I have been so impressed with the difference it has made that I really wanted to tell you about it.

So the Emjoi Micro Nail Electric Nail Polisher is a little gadget that’s designed to get your nails in tip top condition before you use any products over the top. Emjoi are the same people that made Micro Pedi, which I really liked, but I think I am liking this quite a lot more.

Emjoi Micro Nail – The Kit

It is basically an electric buffer that gets the job done in a matter of seconds and it left my nails in prime condition for nail polish. It leaves nails super shiny and smooth, gets rid of ridges and removes any flaky bits on the tips of my nails. They were completely nail polish ready and fast! If you want to skip nail polish, you really could.

It has a battery powered roller system – you first use the Micro Smooth Roller which rotates 1800 per minute to smooth out ridges (only 1 second per nail) and then you swap and use the Micro Shine Roller to buff the nails to a high shine – you can spend a bit more time on this part. There are spares of each roller included in the pack.

You should only use the Smoothing roller once every 2 weeks as you don’t want to wear the nail surface down too much, but you can shine them up as often as  you like.

As I said, I have only used the Emjoi Micro Nail kit once, a week ago,  and my manicure lasted so much better as my nails haven’t peeled at all. Also, it’s just so much easier to apply polish on to a smooth, shiny surface. I am definitely including this in my nail routine going forward as I just don’t get the same kind of results with a manual buffer. It’s also really gentle.
