This is a brand new and very big launch for Arden and the focus is on actually creating a new category rather than just a new product. This is the beginning of the skin boosting category. Here is the low down on the Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster.

So what has really got my attention about this new product is that it is one that can fit into any existing skincare regime. It isn’t a serum or a moisturiser but the very first step before you put anything else on the skin.
The aim of Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster is to repair the look and feel of the skin’s surface (the stratum corneum) and boost both the products you use and the skin’s natural functions.

Elizabeth Arden has conducted research that indicates that the stratum corneum is even more important than we previously believed it to be. Not only is it the surface level of the skin that is visible but also the protection against external aggressors and the only entry point for skincare.
Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster has been developed to support the skin’s surface, boost its natural defences and optimise your skincare regime.
Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster Key Ingredients
- Probiotic Complex – nourishes and smooths the skin, and optimises microflora & skin’s natural defences
- Sea Fennel – enhances skin surface renewal and contains anti-oxidants to defend against free radicals
- Grasswort Extract – boosts natural moisturisation and reduces water loss
I am not going to go into tonnes of details about the science behind Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster but basically the idea is that this will make everything better! It will help the skin repair itself, help the skin defend itself and make the skincare you choose work harder.

The texture is gorgeous. It is a super light, easily absorbed and intensely hydrating gel-to-water formulation that feels absolutely amazing. It also smells lovely – super fresh!

It disappears into the skin and then everything else goes on top of it.
Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster is £45 for 30ml. It launches 24th August 2015. Watch out for updates.

Mmm this reminds me of the Shiseido Ultimune that was launched last year – basically exactly the same concept.
but the ultimune was full of alcohol and the helpful ingredients were at the bottom of the list….hopefully this Arden one is better
