I am really quite excited about this. Elemis are soon to launch their Pro Radiance Flash Balm – a hybrid moisturiser and skin enhancer soft balm to give the skin hydration, sheen, luminosity and glow. Sounds good doesn’t it?

It promises to be easy to apply and super hardworking – “Once the flash happen, so much more does too”.

In tests on 56 people over 14 days:

  • 89% reported more luminous skin
  • 85% said fine lines and wrinkles appeared smoother
  • 91% said that it provided a more even and bright skin tone

The Elemis Pro Radiance Flash Balm is formulated to be a complete moisturiser that is applied to clean skin, so not just a ‘top coat’ product. It contains Purple Orchid for anti-ageing, Acai to defend against free-radicals, Noni Extract for radiance and moisturisation, and Silk Mica, the “skin beautifying miracle ingredient” to blur imperfections. It also has a  mood enhancing scent of neroli, bitter orange, bergamot and lemon – it sounds perfect to wake up you and your skin in the morning.

Elemis claim a list of benefits of their Flash Balm over other products that offer optical enhancement:
  • It won’t ball under your fingertips when applying foundation
  • It won’t sparkle under the light, no conspicuous luminising particles
  • It won’t leave the skin tacky, or overly dewy
Sounds pretty fabulous doesn’t it? I haven’t had the opportunity to try this yet but I should be getting a sample soon. As soon as I do, I’ll get it on my face and on this blog!
