The news that Elemis were launching a cleansing oil was literally music to my ears. Oils are probably my favourite way to cleanse and British brand Elemis is a firm fave of mine. As you’d expect from Elemis, this isn’t just about cleansing and the oil formulation is packed with skin nourishing and revitalising ingredients. Here’s the low-down on the Elemis Nourishing Omega Rich Cleansing Oil.

First off, the aroma is just beautiful. It uses one of my favourite notes, Bergamot, along with a blend of citrus-y ingredients and I find it extremely uplifting and mood enhancing.

• Chia See Oil – source of Omega-3 to nourish and support the skin
• Pomegranate Extract – packed with nutrients, antioxidants and flavonoids to revitalise and refresh the skin

The texture is light and silky, and you just massage one to two pumps into dry skin and enjoy the gorgeous uplifting aroma. You then add a splash of water to emulsify and the oil transforms into a light milk that whisks away makeup and impurities. Simply rinse it off – I used a cloth for extra exfoliating action – and you’re left with soft, smooth and very comfortable skin. Lovely!
