If LED facials are your thing then you’re going to absolutely love this brand new gadget. Check out the Dr Dennis Gross SpectraLite LED Eye Mask. I love it! Here’s what you need to know.

So this new bit of kit got me feeling all super hero when I looked in the mirror wearing it. I kind of like that! It’s very very easy to you. You pop the mask on like a pair of glasses (there’s an elastic in the kit if you need to feel more secure) and then press the button and let the magic happen.

The magic of Dr Dennis Gross SpectraLite is a bright red light that targets the lines around the eyes by building collagen to smooth and firm this delicate area. As the eye area is one of my main concerns, I was all over this.

It is really comfortable and the treatment only last three minutes per day. So I tend to take all my makeup off at night, hop on the bed and close my eyes for three minutes before carrying on with my skincare. I actually find it really quite relaxing. I have tried looking at my phone whilst wearing it, but it makes everything a little weird. Apparently, some like to brush their teeth whilst it’s on but I prefer the relaxation option.

Now, I have been using it for about two weeks and really enjoying it. It has firmly become part of my bedtime ritual. It is really too early to comment on the results, as it takes around six weeks to start building collagen, but I do think that my regime is benefiting from this addition. My eye area seems a little smoother and I am looking forward to seeing longer term results. I’m sticking with it. It has been clinically proven to build collagen so I am excited to see what it can do.
