Here’s a brand new addition to the Dior Forever franchise and if you like a matte finish and pore-minimising results, then this could be the one for you. Here’s the lowdown on the brand new Diorskin Forever Perfect Mousse Foundation with before and after photos.

Now, I am not big on matte finishes as I am all about dewy glow, but Dior is telling us that matte doesn’t have to be heavy and flat. They are describing this as an ethereal mousse (ethereal is definitely a trend in makeup right now) which provides an extra matte finish with non-powdery coverage.

I have shade 010 which is my current Dior shade. The nozzle is a star shape, and as the mousse is dispensed, it reminds me of icing from the nozzle on a piping bag. A little goes a long way and you don’t need much.

Before & After

As I was applying this, my pores were literally disappearing in front of my eyes. I thought that I’d include a half and half shot, because this went down really well in my last foundation post.

The foundation is applied on the left side as you can see it in the photo above, and I really like how it evens out the complexion and blurs the appearance of my pores. It’s pretty matte, but not cakey matte, and definitely gives the skin a perfected look.

The matte finish means you can be quite generous with the moisturiser if you wish. I’m a big fan of juicy skin, so I love to layer on the skincare, and this applies beautifully on top, blended simply with the fingertips.
