I’m pleased to say that I now have my sample of the new DIOR Forever Undercover Foundation and I have finally got around to taking photos and writing up my review. Here’s what you need to know about the latest addition to the Forever longwear family. I have before and after photos.
So this skin launch is all about neo-camouflage which was instantly appealing. This is skin perfecting high coverage with a long lasting natural finish. What made me most keen was that it is matte enough to skip powder but still promises to look fresh.

It has a beautiful fluid texture that melts into the skin with a super light feel.
Before & After
I have been playing with shade 020 and I have to say, the coverage is really impressive without being at all cakey.
It evens out the skin tone completely and covers pigmentation expertly. I love it for that as I hate my freckles and dark spots and dream of a perfectly porcelain complexion. It is matte enough to blur my enlarged pores without being too matte or flat. There’s still some radiance of natural skin there and I love that it doesn’t need powder.
I know that I’ll be asked how it compares to the new NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, and the answer is, very well. It has slightly more coverage I think so will be great if you have more to cover but it isn’t as glowy. My personal preference is the NARS which covers everything I need it to with a bit more luminosity.
If you prefer a more fresh matte finish with extreme coverage, then I think this will be the one for you. I will certainly be keeping this on rotation. I’m a fan.

Out of this and the NARS radiant longwear, which do you think has the best staying power? I have combination but dehydrated skin so find foundation can either slide on my tzone or go patchy on my cheeks/jaw line. I have redness to cover and pores to blur but don’t tend to get any big breakouts these days so I want something that’s covering enough for a realistic look but primarily long lasting. Thanks.
It’s a tricky one. They are both very long lasting. I think maybe Dior as it’s more matte. Both are very natural looking x
