As a newbie to Japanese skincare brand DHC, I am delighted to tell you that this is one of my favourite products of the moment. This is a somewhat iconic product, the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil!

Now I’m told that DHC’s Deep Cleansing Oil is actually a world-wide best selling cleanser and that one is sold every 10 seconds! That’s an exciting little snippet isn’t it?! And I have to say, I can see why. It’s an absolutely beautiful cleanser – wonderful to use and incredibly effective.
Many will be pleased to see that it has quite a small ingredient list that contains skin kind olive oil and vitamin E (tocopherol).

I massage a pump of this with dry hands into dry skin to melt away my makeup and leave my skin super clean and comfortable. I have just noticed that it says to avoid the eye are! Whoops! I’ve been using to it to completely remove heavy eye makeup too. Although if it’s really heavy, I have been inclined to do a double cleanse. It probably doesn’t need it though because it really does lift makeup and grime completely away and rinses off without a trace. So easy!
You’ll find an edited selection of Japanese DHC skincare essentials at Selfridges. The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is £21.50 for 200mls which I think should last me at least 3-4 months, maybe more.
