Deborah Lippmann Music Box – Until Your Dreams Come True

So last week, I had the amazing opportunity to meet manicure maestro Deborah Lippmann whilst she was in the UK for just a day.  I have to say, it really was a pleasure. She’s utterly charming, likeable and relatable and most of all, a really warm person. It was so enjoyable.

Deborah actually conducted a masterclass which I will share, but we also got to see the amazing Deborah Lippmann Music Box which has been created to celebrate 15 fantastic years of the brand.

It’s the most beautiful box, called Until Your Dreams Come True, representative of Deborah’s sentiments about living her dreams. The box, of which there are only £500, is numbered and signed by DL herself along with a personal note too.

True to the brand’s heritage, each of the 15 brand new and exclusive polishes are named after songs and each one tells a little story about the trials and triumphs experienced on the path to today! It’s very lovely and so very real – I could see it in her eyes! I know I’m soppy but I really could!

• Land Of Make Believe (Glitter) – the song that made Deborah fall in love with jazz
• Pure Imagination (Glitter) – a great imagination will take you places
• 1999 (Glitter) – the year Deborah started the business
• I Will Survive (Shimmer) – At first she was afraid, she was petrified!
• I Dreamed A Dream (Shimmer) – a dream of performing on broadway took her to NYC where the brand began
• We Are Family (Creme) – her team is her family
• My Coloring Book (Creme) – her nail polishes are her crayons, the brand is her colouring book
• Come Fly With Me (Creme) – to all the female wannabe entrepreneurs
• The Climb (Creme) – it’s all about the climb!
• Love Will Leave A Mark (Creme) – Her brother Mark has been so important in her life and her business

Oh I loved that little story. It really makes me want to work! And when you open the box, a special song from Deborah starts to play, with a reminder to always dream big, aim high and forever imagine. That’s the spirit!

The Deborah Lippmann Music Box is extremely limited and available exclusively at Harrods for £225. There are only 15 in the UK it would be quite a coup to get one!
