Clinique’s Superdefense moisturiser has been reformulated and improved and now comes with SPF20 (previously 25) and uses Clinique’s latest technology for ultimate comfort and hydration. Brand new to the range is something I am very excited about – the Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Age Defense Eye Cream. I have always wanted an eye cream with light but effective sun protection.

Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Daily Defense Moisturiser is a really luxurious cream that feels super nourishing and it absorbs into my skin leaving it plump and juicy! I am obsessed with protecting my skin from UV and so I love the fact this provides full spectrum UVA/UVB protection with SPF20.

Alongside this protection, new Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Daily Defense Moisturiser also uses key techology to further prevent ageing associated with UV exposure. It also employs Photosomes – the enzymes that help minimise the appearance of UV damage. Sunlight activates the photosomes – they use energy from UV radiation to repair exisiting UV damage before lines and wrinkles form.
It also contains barley and wheatgerm extract to intensely moisturise and strengthen the skin barrier function, and Sea Whip Extract and Caffeine to soothe and calm. There’s also anti-oxident Vitamins A and C for enhanced age protection. It is available in 2 variations for 2 skin types – I have very dry to dry combination.
Next up is the Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Age Defense Eye Cream.

This is a super hydrating eye cream that also delivers an instant brightening effect using a sheer luminous tint. If you need brightening anywhere, it’s usually the eyes, so this is perfect. Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Age Defense Eye Cream has broad spectrum UVA and UBV protection with an SPF20 and a repair complex to fade the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
As well as Sea Whip Extact, Caffeine and Algae extract which protect the skin from the effects of irritation, it also contains patented “Skin Signalling Repair Technology” which provides the skin with Sodium Ribonucleic Acid which activates the skin’s natural repair process. There are also ingredients that strengthen the barrier function and maintain the skin’s natural collagen.
Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Age Defense Eye Cream makes a perfect base for makeup as it leaves a soft, silky finish. I have also been using it to top up during the day and lightly pat it on top of my makeup to hydrate and brighten. Loving this.
Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Daily Defense Moisturiser (£39) and Clinique Superdefense Age Defense Eye Cream (£30) will be available at Clinique counters nationwide from 27th December 2013.
