When Clinique say pop, I listen! Honestly I do. The Clinique Cheek Pop blushers were one of my hugest (and I mean huge) obsessions last year and quite possibly my favourite blushers ever. Incidentally there are 4 news shades which I will show you very soon. But right now we are talking a different kind of pop. So excited in fact that I sat up well into the early hours applying each shade to my lips, snapping it, and then moving on to the next. The shades are stunning so it was pretty hard to say goodbye to some of them when I wiped them away, but fully worth it. I now have the ultimate Clinique Pop Lip Library!

Now this gorgeous new range has 16 shades that are grouped into 4 different colour families. I have been to-ing and fro-ing trying to decide whether to split the groups into 4 different posts to avoid overwhelming you – then I thought, let’s just go for it, as I did, and get a load of all the shades in one go! Get ready because there’s a whole lot of colour!

I absolutely love this category! But then I think I am probably set to say that about Tawnies, Pinks and Violets too! Which is interesting because it isn’t often I like every shade from a whole collection. Anyway…

From left to right we have, Nude Pop 01, Bare Pop 02, Cola Pop 03 and Beige Pop 04.

I think Nude Pop is my favourite one here, but I keep changing my mind. I didn’t think I’d like Cola Pop but it is beautiful.

So in the Tawnies, which I am not entirely sure about the category name  as we have some serious poppy reds here, (but who cares?), we have Melon Pop 05, Poppy Pop 06, Passion Pop 07 and Cherry Pop 08.

The names of this little colour family really make me smile. They are so fun. We have Sweet Pop 09, Punch Pop 10, Wow Pop 11 and Fab Pop 12.

I love Pinks for summer and I think Punch Pop and Wow Pop are pretty perfect.

In this group there’s Love Pop, Plum Pop, Berry Pop and Grape Pop.

Loving all these pops with extra time for Plum and Berry (and Grape!).

And it’s not just about colour. The texture and feel is so good. They are light but super nourishing and even after trying that many shades in such a short space of time, my lips actually felt like they had had a treat.

In terms of wear time, this is good. I have tested Melon Pop and it lasted really well and only needed a little touch up after eating. I’d imagine the darker shades would be even more long-wearing.
