Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara Review
I think this is that Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara is the perfect Spring mascara for a super, pretty fresh look that looks really natural, just like you have lots of lovely long lashes that fan out in the perfect shape.
It is lovely to apply. The ‘fluffy yet densely packed packed bristles’ of the brush pick up the perfect amount of stretchy mascara formula (you’ll know what I mean when you try it) and then it kind of grabs the lashes from the base and then gently pulls them out, separates each lash and fully coats it, encouraging the lashes to fan out in the prettiest lash formation, with no clumping at all.
Here are the before and after pictures.
Nothing on the lashes:

As you can see, it gives a beautiful natural effect, giving that lots of lashes, fluttery look and no clumping at all. In fact, I tried to see if it would clump if I wanted to increase the drama and add another couple of coats.

As you can see, with extra coats the lashes look thicker and blacker, but still not clumpy at all. So it’s actually a very versatile mascara too. I think it will be well loved by a whole range of mascara lovers.
And as well as being super pretty, it is also long wearing (12 hours) and resistant to tears, rain, sweat, pool water, sea water and humidity (it was actually originally developed for humid Asian environments). I haven’t tested this out to all its limits but it didn’t budge one bit on me and I tried it out when I was filming with Jenna Mennard and Clinique under hot studio lights and then walked home from the station in the rain. I was very impressed.
It is easily removed with warm water too, so it’s safe to say that Clinique have created an all round wonder mascara. Yay!!
Lash Power Feathering Mascara comes in 2 shades, Black Onyx and Dark Chocolate, and is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lense wearers. It launches in April 2014 and costs £18. It’s a big recommendation from me. Clinique also has a new CC Cream formula coming up which comes in a compact. Keep your eyes peeled for that!
