When I wore this mascara on my Instagram stories I had a flood of questions about which one it was because people were very impressed with how long and fluttery it made my lashes look. Here’s the low down on the brand new Clinique High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara with before and after photos.
I do like Clinique mascaras and have always got on really well with them, so I was keen to try this new one that promises an instant lash lift.
Clinique High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara Features
- Lightweight, mousse-like formula
- Lifts lashes without weighing them down
- Innovative curling polymers shape and hold lashes in place
- Conditioning oils keep lashes healthy and soft
- Tapered brush coats each lash
- Buildable volume for a separated, feathered look

I really love the brush on this mascara. You can really get into the roots with it and push up the lashes for ultra length and curl.
Before and After
One coat gives a soft, feathery long-lashed look.

The second coat really packs on the volume and makes the lashes look even longer.
It doesn’t budge or smudge at all, and my lashes stayed curled and lifted until I took it off. One thing to note is that it’s not that easy to get off. You will definitely need an oil or a bi-phase remover. I went in with the new Clinique Micellar Gel which I have been loving, but it didn’t even touch it. After that I used one of my fave oils, the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cleansing Oil which is super gentle on the eyes and that did the trick, although there was a tiny bit of a panda eyes situation the following morning. I think it’s worth it though because I got so many compliments.

Hi, most of the clinique High Impact mascaras are tubing mascaras, so you remove with warm water on a cotton pad and light pressure, and the tubes slip off. Make up remover at room temperature doesn’t work. So give that a go!
