Oooh ooh ooh! Now this is really cool and totally makes sense. Get ready for the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour & Highlight! We all love chubbies, love it or loathe it, we all seem obsessed with contouring, and now here are those very 2 things combined promising sculpting perfection! Fabulous!
So what exactly do we have here? Well it is 2 chubby sticks – one to create a shadow, the Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, and one to create a highlight, Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight. The result? Effortlessly sculpted and shaped cheekbones.
Exciting! For me, contouring is like the holy grail of all techniques. Bring. It. On.
Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour – Curvy Contour
This works by creating depth and definition and you place it where shadows occur naturally on the face.
You suck in your cheeks, and swipe the chubby underneath each cheekbone. Next use the side edge down either side of the nose, and along the jawline. Then blend everything out with your fingertips.
Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight – Hefty Highlight
This contains pearlized, light-reflecting pigments to add a luminous sheen and make the cheekbones appear more prominent by lighting and lifting them.
Dab across the top of each cheekbone, down the middle of the nose, middle of the forehead and centre of the chin. Again you just blend out with fingers.
Contouring Tips from Florrie White:
- Let your own bone structure guide you
- Contours and highlights should compliment each other.
- Highlight above and/or below the contour
- Suck in and see! Suck in your cheeks & follow the hollow.
- This is your secret – blend away the lines into shadows
