I have been absolutely desperate to try the new Clinique BIY Blend It Yourself Pigment Drops! Customisation in beauty is so huge and these drops mean you can transform your favourite moisturiser into your favourite BB cream, CC cream or foundation. Who doesn’t want that?! I have been trying it out and have photos and swatches for you to see.

UPDATE – Just launched HERE.

I always get very excited at the idea of mixing up my own solutions. And with these, you could use your moisturiser as a base and then get cocktailing with perhaps a drop of serum, primer, or an oil to change up the finish. Exciting! You can even mix this into your sunscreen at the beach.

Clinique BIY Blend It Yourself Pigment Drops Features

Clinique say, “One drop. Endless possibilities” and that had me hooked! The idea of being able to turn my favourite moisturiser, primer, or serum, into skin perfecting foundation is so appealing! You’d know that your base really does have skincare benefits. Cover FX launched something similar last year, however, these are quite a lot more affordable at £25.

So you must give this a really good shake before you use it to make sure that the bi-phase formula is completely blended. Then you just dispense a drop into your moisturiser in the palm of your hand:

You then simply blend with your fingertips or a brush and apply to your skin. This can be your light day time base or something much more flawless for evenings or special occasions.

It’s a light fluidy texture, but extremely densely pigmented. I have two shades – BIY210 and BIY155 (I am not sure if these are the final shade references):

I love this!! And remember you could add in a glowy product if you want more radiance and just generally have a play around. Excellent! I am excited to try it with the BECCA First Light Priming Filter and the Victoria Beckham for Estee Lauder Morning Aura cream. Play time!
