So this is quite a sneaky peak of the new Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer. There isn’t yet a sample in my shade available but I am quite a fan of the liquid version so am very interested to try this!
So here’s the lowdown of what’s to come. This doesn’t launch until September so there’s a while to wait yet.
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer
- Buildable application
- Creamy, comfortable texture
- Full coverage
- Lightweight feel
- Light reflecting finish
- Natural matte, shine control formula
- Moisturing formula with glycerin, phytosqualene and murummuru butter
- Double sided sponge for application and buffing
This applicator is very similar to the one that the new Tom Ford Flawless Powder Foundation is set to have when it launches. There are 2 different textures which can be used depending on the level of coverage you choose.
The sponge side delivers a light coverage and the fuzzy flocked side is able to pick up more product in order to build up a full coverage effect. You can also use the fluffy side to buff the product seamlessly into the skin.
Unlike the Tom Ford counterpart, the applicator on the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer has a tear drop shape with a pointed tip which enables precise concealing and access to those hard to reach areas of the face like around the nose.
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer Swatch – Shade Neutral
There will be 10 shades available in the line up. Today I played with shade neutral, which features in my photos.
The texture is fine and smooth, and seems to blend very easily into the skin. Once I get my shade I will be able to share before and after photos with you.
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer launches 4th September 2015.
