Yay! I have been absolutely desperate to try this out and so excited to see if it’s as good as I want it to be. Here’s a look at the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer. I have swatches and before and after photos for you, and if you like a perfected, flawless look but not the feel of heavy makeup then keep reading – and don’t start worrying that it’s one of those liquidy, watery numbers, it isn’t!
So the good news is, even though this is a lightweight formula, it still has a lovely creamy texture which makes me really happy.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer Swatch – Alabaster
The texture is really nice. It has lovely hydrating, nourishing feel, that blends really easily into the skin for invisible yet flawless coverage. It builds really easily and can be built up under the eyes and around the nose to conceal and doesn’t go cakey or sink into lines. I love this!

Here’s shade Alabaster applied to the centre of the face using one ‘dip’ of the applicator and then blended out with a buffing brush. I then went back in and layered it under my eyes and around my nose as concealer and worked it in with the warmth of my fingertips.
I am so pleased with this!! I love a flawless look and this is so great on pores, fine lines and wrinkles, and evening out skin tone and redness. It pretty much does it all, delivering a naturally radiant finish – not too dewy, not too matte, and it deals with shine beautifully without powder. It is light and comfortable in feel too. Love it!!

I don’t think it does. There’s nothing about SPF on the press release

Clinique definitely aren’t catering for pale skin anymore, their new anti-blemish bb cream spf40 is a beautiful texture and finish but once again, just like the beyond perfecting, it’s so dark I can’t wear it, they need to add pale colours into all of their new ranges.
I’m proud of my pale skin too and I will never fake tan, Clinique needs to get back to reality, we don’t all live in sunny climates and we are not all golden goddesses.
I won’t be buying Clinique foundation again, if Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown and MAC can make produce pale shades why can’t they?
I love the Clinique BB cream, and I just bought the beyond perfecting foundation + concealer. Should I put the BB cream on first? Or should I not combine them? I’m hoping it’s ok to combine, as I have mild adult acne and a few scars, so I’m looking for good coverage.

Yes you can use the BB as a primer and follow with foundation xx
