CLEAN Reserve is a collection of fragrances created in collaboration with three of the world’s top fragrance houses. The company is commited to sustainability, creating products that don’t damage or hurt the environment. Each perfume is made with ingredients that have been sourced responsibly, in a way that supports the environment and helps local communities. You really have to admire CLEAN Reserve’s vision and having the determination to make it a reality.

CLEAN Reserve approach fragrances in a completely new way, creating traditional perfumes but with high quality raw ingredients. Their dedication to responsible perfumery runs throughout the whole process, from the farms that create the ingredients, to the stunning bottles.

Clean Reserve Rain Packaging

The fragrance comes packaged in a beautiful, clean, white box which is finished with crisp writing and a blue colour scheme. The product feels luxurious and very different to anything I’ve personally tried on the perfume market. The gimmicks and the garish packaging is left behind, instead inside the box we see a simple, elegant bottle. The bottle is finished with a wooden cap, which is sourced in Spain, made from wood gathered from certified sustainably managed forests. The glass bottle itself is 100% recyclable and the perfume inside is manufactured in a facility that uses 100% solar energy. The alcohol inside the fragrance is made from corn, which allows CLEAN Reserve to ensure that it’s refined and pure. Aloe is added to the perfume to give it a little twist, giving it a beautiful feeling on the skin, as well as the added skincare benefits. The list of interesting features literally goes on and on, here I’m just naming a few.

The CLEAN Reserve Eau de Parfum collection includes five different scents, I’ve been testing ‘Rain’ for the last few days and I’m in love. The reserve blend is inspired by the rainforest, blending Amazonian rain, which a floral freshness of bergamot, cucumber and water lily. It feels really fresh on the skin, it’s very easy to wear and really endearing. It’s the type of fragrance that I want to spritz all around my house, it has that welcoming feel which would not be offensive to your guests!

The official notes of the fragrance are Bergamot as a top note, followed by Moist White Flowers in the middle and a base of Patchouli. The sustainable ingredient in this particular fragrance is Haitian Vetiver, which gives the Rain scent a warm lift. They source the ingredient directly from the local people of Haiti; this way CLEAN Reserve can ensure they can continue to work with the farmers for years to come.

CLEAN Reserve scents are priced at £79 for 100ml.  They  are definitely for the luxury market, but you really do get value for money- the scents are amazing, and I personally love the ethos of the brand. Find Clean Reserve Rain [reserve blend] here
